The property is in a great location that is secluded and feels like you're in a place all of your own. Beautiful views of the mountains wether you are replacing on the porch, in the hot tub, or in the cabin. There is wineries, OHV rentals, and the lake all close by (about 30 mins) to add your stay. We wish we were able to stay longer than we did! Loved it.

I rarely give reviews: Thank you Could Nine!
Cloud Nine was a dream. Several mornings we awoke, surrounded by clouds and fog, only to see them slowly dissipate and reveal beautiful mountains and serene valleys. The cabin was outstanding! It is great for a family, an extended family or two small families. It is equipped with everything you would want, and the cabin has high end appliances. The kitchen is well stocked and the interior well decorated. I inquired about a firepit prior to reserving the cabin and the next thing that I knew, one was provided. It wasn’t a basic wood burning firepit, but an elegant propane firepit placed on the deck to take advantage of the outstanding views. The exterior has a hot tub, grill, firepit, etc. and the views are spectacular Julie, the host/owner was delightful. She responded quickly, thoughtfully, and graciously. We felt like welcomed guests. I’m not sure if we will be making it back to Mountain City, TN. However, with a host as gracious as Julie and cabin as spectacular as Cloud Nine, it may be worth the trip.

Cool views, hot temps
Several road changes and winding roads as one might expect to a mountain top cabin – absolutely wonderful views and (mostly) comfortable accommodations. In reading the rest of this review, keep in mind that our visit was in July, the warmest month of the year. The one thing we did not take into account in booking this cabin devoid of shade, was the western facing cabin became much too warm as early as 9am. due the massive glass windows. We tried shutting the blinds, but to no avail. We also brought the air conditioning fans that were placed in the bedrooms to the living room, but they were not strong enough to cut the heat, Simply put we were not able to use the gorgeous open space living room much of the time The temperatures were much different in the bedrooms where the air conditioning made it almost too cold to sleep at night. We found that if we closed the register in the bathroom that mitigated some of the cold. However, despite all these temperature challenges, we enjoyed our time there immensely, and everything else is well appointed. Hot tub was wonderful, We cooked out almost every night. Overall, truly magnificent experience!

38th anniversary
What a wonderful week! I’m almost ashamed to tell you that we arrived on Saturday afternoon and never left the property until the next Saturday morning! And then . . . my husband looked at me and said, “I can’t believe a whole week has gone by! It seems like we just got here yesterday! I don’t want to leave!” The house was so comfortable and the view was stunning!

Did not disappoint
The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the views were even better. The cabin has every thing you could want for a quiet get away with family or your special someone. We so enjoyed ourselves, we spent most of our time at the cabin instead of exploring the communities around us. We will consider this cabin again for our yearly trip to the mountains. I thank the home owner for sharing his little piece of paradise.

This was our second stay at this cabin. And it was just as great this time. Very cozy with the fireplace and an awesome view. Even though it was cold outside we were very warm and comfortable inside and could admire the mountains. We will definitely be returning next year.

Beautiful Views!!
The cabin and views were spectacular. We were there during peak fall colors and it was absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. Windows foggy, shower curtain kinda of gross on the bottom. One of the hand towels were dirty. I just expected it to be a little better with the extra fees for cleaning and linens. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

Great Stay Cabin
The cabin, and property were great. Great accommodations. Comfortable beds (unusual). Very well equipped thru out with everything needed, but the food. The views from the living room and deck were spectacular. Great hot tub. Equipped with WiFi, Direct TV, DVD player with plenty of movies, games, etc. (TV in every bedroom area). Needs a couple of more chairs on the deck, but we had brought some nice folding chairs we keep in the car, so was not a problem for us. We would defiantly return for another stay. We "stayed" put though for 4 days, because it is somewhat remote, and driving up and down the mountain to "see the sight" or shop was not our thing. It's a place to rest, relax, and chill. If you are a person who has to be "on the go" all the time, I don't think this cabin would be ideal. We enjoyed the rest and relaxation. We had a perfect week of weather, with blue skies every day, so we could not have asked for anything more.

Beautiful, breathtaking view. I could go there and just sit on the deck for a week straight! Lol. We had a little trouble with hot tub, but the property manager was EXTREMELY helpful with troubleshooting and we got it going again! Grear communication there! Lots of board games and a foosball table upstairs for the kids! Overall very recommended!!!

Amazing View!
The view of the back deck is beyond description! Almost does not look real it is so beautiful. The cabin was great, everything was well labeled including all the light switches (no guessing) Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was well accessorized. My only very minor critique is I wished the back deck had some overhead cover so that we could sit out and enjoy the view during the (frequent) rain. Maybe a bid umbrella for the patio table would work. Some very twisty narrow roads going up to the cabin made it feel even more remote once we got there. Definately a 5 star rating.

The cabin was just as pictured and the view was even better than pictured! The property manager was very quick to reply when we communicated with him. The only tiny tiny downside is phone reception is very limited and WiFi wasn’t super good but I would100% go back to this cabin. We all agreed that we want to stay at this property again!
