"This house is certainly unique. The stained glass and original woodwork is beautiful. While it is easy to appreciate the historic significance of the home, it is not a comfortable place to stay. The beds are horrible. Cheap, crunchy mattresses. Pillows and bedding are awful. The towels are old, stained, and smelly. "Homestead 1810 was a little home away from home. It is equipped with everything we needed as a family of 4 and more. It was clean, orgnized, nicely decorated, has the old farm house charm. The garden was beautiful as well. Having a washe and dryer on-site were a plus since part of our stay in PEI was for a sport tournament, we needed to wash those clothes multiple times. "My two adult daughters and myself stayed in this house for a week. we found it close to the boardwalk, an easy walk to the centre of town and in a very nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I would have liked to know that it was a duplex before we came (we never heard anything from the people below) and there was mold in the tub/shower. This may be because of the location to the ocean, I am not sure. All in all, we had a wonderful trip to PEI...
