Our Stay Near Cromwell
The property is a beautiful property and was a pleasure to stay in during our trip to Cromwell. The location was ideal for the activities we had in mind - wine tasting, biking riding Otago Rail Trail, visiting Arrowtown, visiting family in Queenstown. The reason I didn't give this property five starts are: 1. While it said the property had heat, we were not allowed to use the thermostat. Unfortunately, we had several days of rain, and it was cold in the house which was uncomfortable. We emailed the property management company but never received a reply. 2. As I said above, it rained during our stay, and we had to get out buckets to capture the roof leaks. Emailed property management company, but no reply. 3. The fire alarm discharged at around 2am in the morning, this stopped shortly after it started. Never knew why. 4. We were instructed to take the garbage with us without resource for disposal. While there was a garbage can and a recycle can, the garbage can was full and could barely take more refuse. We ended up driving to a nearby holiday park to dispose of some of our garbage. This was very inconvenient. Also, as one pays a cleaning fee, one would expect the disposal of garbage to be included. I removed a star for the lack of heat, the leaking roof, and inconvenient garbage disposal. Also, there were no garbage bins in the bathrooms or bedrooms. I removed another star because Bachcare, the local management company, was nonresponsive, both prior the the visit when I asked about internet access, and during our stay when we emailed about the lack of heat and the roof leaks.

Fabulous venue
It is everything that is listed on Book a Batch. We had a fabulous time. The location is awesome, right by the lake. We would suggest this venue to anyone.
