"When we first walked into the cabin, we fell in love with it! It's very charming and homey. Tammy's binder has all the information we need and help us explore Julian. It also tells us that her grandfather built this cabin original and made our stay even more special because she shares all the memories from her family including a rotary phone that my wife and I had to use growing up :) Charlie"

"Loved staying at this little house. The view is amazing and it’s close to downtown Julian. Kitchen is very well equipped. Woodpeckers will tap on the windows in the morning which is no big deal. Didn’t love dealing with the very steep driveway but that was our only complaint. Would stay here again."

"We booked this location especially because it was dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect."

"This was perfect for my husband and me and our two teenagers. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, charming, and the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The communication was excellent and we loved our meal at the Julian Cafe. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"My son really enjoyed the bunk beds. The location was great with nearby walking trails and the house was cozy with a great fireplace. There was an issue with the door code when we arrived but the manager was extremely responsive. Some cons were some areas were not cleaned well. We found dirty dishes that were put away, we found clean dishes in the dishwasher that were not out away, and it does not look like they cleaned under the master bedroom beds or took the trash out from the garage."

" Flicking the light switches by the door didn't turn on the light. We arrived after dark and had to use a flashlight to see where the next light switch was. There were no instructions how to re-lock the electronic lock, and we ended up leaving the door unlocked all weekend. Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend, and everything went well."

Camp site is in the high desert, so camping is on dirt, but there are well maintained trees and even small cabins for rent. One of the best maintained campgrounds I have seen. "
