"My Husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of our trip. We were able to relax enjoy the gardens and do much needed laundry. The Austin’s provided everything you can think to need! If you plan to cook purchase before you arrive because there’s no grocery store in this sweet little village, though you might enjoy a dessert from the local general store!"

"I really enjoy this cottage....it is clearly loved, and has survived since 1905..through earthquakes etc. It has a wonderful history, is totally private..and is like a quaint country cottage, in the middle of the city. It has all the facilities you might need. Plus an outside bath....fabulous!"

"Tons of space and all amenities make this house a wonderful place to stay. A very pleasant rural spot with nice mountain outlook. Friendly and very helpful owner. The house is immaculate and has everything needed for stay of any duration. Oxford township (restaurants, bars & galleries) is close, as is the Waimakariri Gorge. All up a great stay. "

"Easy access accommodation in Rolleston. Perfect for a family catch up - if all staying in different accom and you need your own space. Very much a cottage theme inside and out. Had everything you needed. Ideal for a couple. Quiet and private."

"the house is small but can fit in with my family. the host replied promptly and solved with all the enquires. only sad thing is the washing machine is too old the clothes left lots of powder after wash. overrall good ."

"Thank you! Beautiful estate and grounds. The Granary is lovely. This was an overnight stay and we arrived late in the day, so did not explore. I do wish the initial instructions included the need to clean before we left and we would have budgeted more time for that. "

"We only stayed for a night and the cottage was good for us. There are lovely grounds and it is very peaceful and private. Everything was provided that we required for a short stay. Being able to bring our dog was a bonus. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the property. It was well equipped, had very comfortable beds, and was in a good location. Bachcare, the agent, were responsive, when required. The only negatives were the intermittent hot water in the shower (everywhere else the hot water was fine) and the very neglected garden area."
