The air here is so clean and the river access is pretty good even for older folks. My wife and I found the host Emkay was quite lovely and communicative and has gone to great lengths to create a tranquil and safe space with lots of quirky personal touches. "

The woodstove kept us nice and warm, and everything about the home worked well- from the well appointed kitchen to the lovely soaking tub super comfy beds. Plenty of firewood, great entertainment options ( movies music huge screen!) And access to cute mountain towns and glorious hikes! After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. But the evenings did cool off and there was a supply of fans. Our biggest concern was that the cleaning service used perfumed laundry soap and cleaning products that were pretty strong smelling. "We had a great stay! The house is clean, cozy, and very peaceful. It’s a perfect hideout with easy access to Santa Cruz and Los Gatos. There were plenty of comfortable beds and fun activities. Ernesto was very responsive and accommodating!"
