"Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car."

"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."

"It's the second time we stayed in Curringa Farm after 13 years. It's still as wonderful. Jane and Tim are very friendly and helpful as always. The two-hour farm tour is a must to join and it's very informative. And watching the night sky full of stars and even aurora is truly enjoyable. A must place to visit in Tasmania."

"This was a lovely farm stay surrounded by sheep and countryside. Don’t expect to be close to any dining options but expect to be fully relaxed at the end of your stay. Make sure you give the bullock a slice of bread and walk to the lake. "

Not only very welcoming but went to the trouble of texting us after we checked out the following day about weather conditions and power outages, etc. in the area we were travelling to. "Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend."
