LIVING AREA Kick back and watch a new movie on the cable TV in the living area, furnished with a plush sofa, love seat, and armchair. Make some hot cocoa and curl up by the wood-burning fireplace (available in winter months only).
KITCHEN & DINING Whip up hearty meals in the well-equipped kitchen. When your culinary creations are complete, dine together at the wooden table set for four.
BEDROOMS & BATH This two-story home sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. Rest easy in the master bedroom, furnished with a comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds. The bathroom is configured with a double vanity and tub/shower combination.
OUTDOOR AREAS Make use of the gas grill and host a cookout on the deck. Dine alfresco in the fresh sea air at the picnic table. Enjoy swimming and kayaking right from your property at high tide -- from your own private beach! (Please note that the waterfront is tidal, which means the water level will vary throughout the day.) A firepit is available in summer months for roasting s’mores.

Enjoy waterfront activities on the Narrows and at various lakes across the island. Or hike on a myriad of trails in the park. Drive 13.5 miles to discover a plethora of dining and shopping options in downtown Bar Harbor. Soak up the sun on Sand Beach (20 miles). Watch for wildlife, including seals, otters, and a variety of New England sea birds.
Mount Desert Isle offers an endless array of activities for everyone. Some of the things to do in Acadia National Park include: a visit to Sand Beach, Thunder Hole and Otter Cliff. A drive up Cadillac Mountain for sunrise or sunset and a bike ride past the The Bubbles and high tea and popovers at Jordon Pond House. Tour the stunning gardens at Asticou or take a boat ride out of Northeast Harbor. Take a Glider or Bi-Plane Ride over the Park out of the Hancock Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton for some great perspective on Mount Desert Isle.
On the ocean and land, visitors and guests can tour Mount Desert Isle on their own, or let experienced Maine guides show them the way. For cyclists, there are 55 miles of carriage trails that lace their way through Acadia National Park. Bike beside crystal clear lakes and spectacular mountains or take a bus or trolley tour.
There are local companies and expert registered Maine Guides that know wildlife and the history of Downeast Acadia offering walking tours of Bar Harbor. Rent a kayak or canoe and tour on your own or better still in the company of Maine Guides and explore Mount Desert Island’s fascinating harbors and coast. Or set sail with one of the professional tour boats from Bar Harbor in search of lighthouses, whales, seals, seabirds or set sail for a day aboard a Schooner.
