I can't imagine how wonderful it must be during the summer and fall! We totally recommend.Host was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with."

"This was the perfect stay for what we needed (and more). I packed a ton of books and toys for our kids, but they didn't touch a single one. The house had a bin of toys, a bunch of games (we played candyland), stuffed animals in every room, and even a workout room we did a fun family workout in! The weather was just cold enough that we decided against s'mores, but we hung out by the water and promised the kids we'll be back when it's warmer.We also brought our dog, who we may not bring next time....

"House was nice and we enjoyed our time there. Deer greeted us morning and evening and walked right to us, kids loved it. Location was great for our skiing trip. The drive way was super steep and was a problem for a flat lander like me and my minivan. That was the biggest area of concern for us. "

"We went up for the weekend and the house was absolutely perfect. The rooms were exactly as described, which can be a little hit and miss with listings!Everything was clean and easy to find. Plenty of room for everyone. This listing allows pets but you cannot tell. There is no odor, no hair ect. Which some in our party are sensitive to. I would bring tupperware, ZIP lock bags if you like to prepare meals during your stays. "

"Very nice space, especially for the price point. A few downed trees in the back yard that could be cleaned up but didnt hinder our enjoyment! Nice quiet neighborhood with relatively dark skies to enjoy and photograph the lunar eclipse. "

"This was the perfect location for our large family. We spent the day at massanutten ski resort. We easily drove from the cabin to resort in about 15 minutes. The cabin had plenty things to entertain everyone. I would love to stay again in the summer."

"Looking for a cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah foothills? Excellent three bedroom option near Elkton. Sit and drink your morning coffee or clink your evening wine glass on one of two lovely porch swings overlooking the surrounding vistas. We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday and relaxing. The property manager was a delight. "

"Nice little getaway not too far from everything. It was nice to unplug and relax for a few days. Dry river is VERY close would be awesome in late spring early summer if you want a "basecamp" to fish for Brook Trout. A couple really nice deep fishing holes a short walk from the cabin. Had a blast and would definitely stay again."

"The location couldn’t be any better. The river is so close and so nice to listen to. Beds were comfortable which is surprising for most rentals. Would love to come back in the summertime and take advantage of the river with swimming and fishing. If I had to pick anything to complain about, I could only say 2 things. 1 the house is kinda small on the inside. There are some tight spaces. Nothing wrong with that, but the kitchen gets really tight if too many people are in there at once. 2 the fire...
