"We loved our stay at the Lake Tekapo Village Motel! The location is excellent--our room looked out on the lake and we were within minutes walk of the lake and all the main attractions such as the church and the Dark Sky Project. The staff were so friendly and happy to accomodate all of our needs. The complimentary breakfast/lunch is an excellent deal -- voucher to spend at adjacent Doughboys Restaurant which features noodles as well as homemade dumplings (order 20 minutes ahead but so handy to motel so very convenient). "Beautiful location. Front desk staff super helpful and friendly, especially Hafizah. Clean community kitchen stocked with dushes, pots, pans and cleaning supplies, BBQ grill, refrigerator space and small amount of free supplies like milk. Had french press or plunger for coffee so bring coffee grinds. So close to hikes. Great value for price."
