found this hotel on the net and it was close to an event we were attending , so sounded good. First impressions were this look s like a shabby poorly maintained place, but after looking around they all resembled a state of disrepair. In fairness probably a condition of the elements. Being the only place to eat at mount Buller we ate at the hotel restaurant - wow-what a shock.This chef-Ha Ha Cook -needs to get a job at Maccas and learn some basics. Disgraceful , over priced, slow, poor quality, everything you fear in a restaurant, yes , they have it. We spoke to a few people around us as we were at a bike event and all seemed to be of the same opinion. $42.00 for a steak and three veg. The steak was on step up from minute steak as well. I ordered a ham and pineapple pizza that came out with tomoato on top. The waiter who I was later told was the manager said It will be faster if you just pulled the tomato off as they were busy.
