"We're a group of archeologists with one minor child who stayed here while we staffed KATP public archeology field school in Bourbon County. This home was comfortable for all of us after long hot days conducting scientific research and teaching the public archeo excavation techniques. Thank yous to Kyle and Jodi for graciously accommodating our ever-changing needs, including a Fedex delivery of unexpected, but needed, archeo equipment."

"Beautiful on the inside. Very relaxing!! The only reason I gave 4 on listing is because when it said next to water I thought it was on the water. You can see the water partly off the deck so it's close but you have to go across other people's property to get there but it's still a good view"

"Great overnight here. Clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Right in town so very convenient. Toilet area is small and I am not, but for one or two nights it’s manageable. Historic nature of the place is lovely Well cared for bit of history. "

"We will try to stay here again the next time we travel. This is an old motel that very caring and hard working owners have turned into a comfortable, solid option. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were plentiful and fluffy. I slept better than I have at most places. The room needed some repairs, but it was absolutely spotless and well supplied. As I sat in the very simple lobby with my morning coffee (breakfast is simple, but varied), other guests said very complimentary things to the owners. I clearly wasn’t the only one who noticed the quality of the service. Please note that the place is old. It needs renovation. But I was happy to patronize these hard working owners. I wish them the very best in their endeavor. "
