While sipping coffee on the deck, enjoy the beautiful scenery from Kona's Hobbit House overlooks crystal clear waters. The private beach is sheltered by islands big and small. Go dip your toes or finish your breakfast at the Private Beach.
Ready to head out on an adventure? Take your kayak or canoe to explore the nearby islands: Black Cat, The Beavers, and Three Mile are larger islands along with Hawks Nest, Hull and Minister Islands. Perhaps you'd rather take a motor boat - good news! Guests of Hobbit House can rent a boat slip as well! Just contact us to reserve one with your stay. Boat slips are as close as the private beach.

About Hobbit House Accommodations
Enter the arched door, and you will see the Hobbit House has two round rooms, one at each end of the house, with the bathroom and sleeping loft in the center.
Head right to a charming well-equipped kitchen: full sized fridge, stove with oven, a microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Sit at the table and enjoy that amazing view.
Head left to the living room which doubles as one of the sleeping areas, a smart TV sits across from the futon. Open up the futon for one of the sleeping areas - Queen sized futon provides accommodations for 2 guests.
Next climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. The queen bed provides under bed drawers with a bedside table and lamp. The sleeping loft offers excellent storage for your luggage - easy to reach while out of the way.
Under the loft is the bathroom with a walk-in shower. The vanity and mirrored cabinets provide ample storage for your beauty supplies.
Every room has a stunning view of Lake Winnipesaukee. The round rooms showcase a wooded view as well.
Open the large windows and enjoy a lovely cross-breeze. The combination of stone walls, shady setting, and large windows provide ample natural cooling at the Hobbit House.

Mobility Friendly Property: This home is considered mobility friendly, because it meets the following criteria:
1) One floor living is possible - at least 1 bedroom and 1 full bath are on the main living level.
2) Few stairs (6 or less) to enter the main living level.
3) Easy access bathing: either a walk-in shower or grab bar to assist with entering a tub/shower combination.
