"Excellent stay"

"Our favourite place we stayed in French Polynesia. We spent 4 nights here out of our 3 week trip. We stayed at several homes & finished off with the Four Seasons, & if we had to pick only one place to stay, Orama lodge would be the place. The bungalow we stayed at was built by one of the owners, Alain who is a master carpenter, with the support of this beautiful wife Regina. It was built for their son with love & thoughtfulness, & we felt it as soon as we walked in. It has an amazingly comfortable 4 post bed, fully equipt kitchen, laundry, perfect bathroom, & an extra shower outside for when returning from the beach. And we needed anything, our hosts would provide with a sincere smile. Regina took us for a walk, telling us stories of the past, & pointing out the plants and trees that have been used by the locals for food and medicine. It was truly a special experience. They also arranged for us the most amazing tour that we've ever been on. Wow. We spent time sitting on their deck talking about life, our pasts, & our hopes for the future. They love hosting guests & sharing their experiences to help guests have the best experience possible. Regina made us delicious banana bread, & then sent us off with more fresh banana bread to our next stop. They welcomed us into their home with flower leis & sent us off with seashell leis, as is the custom here. They are beautiful humans, with a contagious love for life & laughter that filled our spirits. It truly felt like home. "

"A beautiful large and airy bungalow with a well equipped kitchen. The veranda was nicely furnished and easily hosted our evening cocktails hours watching the sunset. Nir, the manager was a pleasure to deal with. He was easily accessed. The bungalow was equipped with a cellphone which afforded direct access to Nir for any question, as well as local calls to book outings. "

"Coco's Place was an excellent choice for phase 2 of our Bora Bora vacation. (Phase 1 was one of the resorts.) It was conveniently located, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, cook, snorkel, and have a great time! Having the use of a car along with our stay was the next level of convenience and utility! There can be some noise from traffic on the main road and occasionally roosters, but this is something that did not bother us because we tended to have an oscillating fan going at night while sleeping, which would drown out the other noises. The view was incredible, and we had so much fun snorkeling nearby and kayaking. Great communication from the hosts, as well as pick up and drop off from the resort and to the airport, which we very much appreciated. Nathalie was so helpful with a tour, and welcoming to the place, as well as explaining everything that needed to be. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering a visit!"

"We had a few great days staying at this traditional cottage. The house was spacious enough for our family, it was very well equipped with anything we needed. The veranda was a great spot to sit out and extend beyond the interior spaces. The lodge is right across the beach, which although not ideal for lounging, provides direct access to the water for snorkeling, kayaking, etc. The location is right around the point where you can see manta rays and about a 15-min drive from the main town. Before we arrived the hosts had recommended we rent a car and it was a great suggestion for ease of movement around the island. But the highlight of our stay was our hosts' hospitality! They were great to communicate before our trip, but even more so once we arrived. They welcomed us with drinks and leis and seashell necklaces upon our departure. They accommodated any question and need we had, provided kayaks and snorkeling gear and allowed our family to spread out across their property. I wish our french was better to communicate with Alan and ask more questions about the lodge that he constructed himself and his background, but we managed!
