"Spotless be clean, fantastic location"

"Anna Maria was very kind, communicative, and accommodating! I had mentioned to her prior to my arrival that I *love* arancini (a Sicilian street snack), and she had two waiting for me when I got there. She gave me recommendations, and even a recipe for a pasta I ate that I wanted to learn to make back home. "Really enjoyed the amount of space, the large bathrooms, big balcony, washing machine. Not a lot for us to do in Valverde, but a nice jumping off point for Mount Etna and Taormina. Very kind and accommodating town, as we spoke no Italian and they were very patient with us."

"Well organised communication from the start. Lovely hosts who went through everything at the start. The property is lovely an old restored very sensitively. Reasonably good location allowing you to access to Etna and the coast. There is no air conditioning so there were a few nights where it was a little uncomfortable. You do need to rent a car to explore from here to make the best if what Sicily has to offer."

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

Leider stand der Pool nicht mehr zur Verfügung, sowas muß im Inserat berücksichtigt und kommuniziert werden. Unsere nette Vermieterin hat uns jedenfalls im Vorfeld darauf hingewiesen. Es fiel jedoch nicht ins Gewicht, weil wir ohnehin jeden Tag die wunderschönen Altstädte (Syrakus, Taormina,...
