I felt so strongly I went down to reception and eventually spoke to someone in authority who was very understanding and helpful and moved me to another room - just like the one I had had before. "My mum and I had a lovely stay at Ardoe! Our room was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the drawing room; the bartender was brilliant. Our meal was also fantastic, highly recommend treating yourself in their restaurant although they do also have bar meals. The only downside is that the swimming pool hosts so many lessons and also seems to attract a lot of local families, so we didn't have many opportunities to use the pool. We had to get up really early to use it before lessons started, but...

Bathroom of a reasonable standard. Hot towel rail and large fluffy white towels. Located centrally for the city centre. "
