"This was a perfect place to visit all the main archeological sites and museums in Athens. While the apartment is in great shape and has all the conveniences one needs (excellent AC!), the building is a bit run down and shabby. This does not impact the apartment in any way."

First, if you are looking for a location in the city for easy access to the historical sights, great shopping in Plaka and a plethora of cafes, bakeries and restaurants this location will be a good choice for you.
