"We used the cabin as a base for a ski weekend for our daughter who just turned 16. Propane fireplace is awesome to heat majority of the cabin and the hot tub is soooo awesome after some long days on the mountain. Will stay here again I sure "

"We loved this place. The hosts do a great job at managing the place and taking great care of their guests. It felt like they thought of everything we could possibly want from a little getaway and did it for us in advance— s'more kits, wood for the fire pit, a well maintained hot tub, toiletries, a personal heater in the room, wine glasses for use, a variety of teas and coffee, and even restaurant recommendations… The price was also fantastic, considering everything we got during our stay. We will be coming back! "

"Nice, clean and cozy cabin. It was well maintained, and the heat was on too to setup the room. Only spent one night so did not use any other service but it was good to stay there"

"Nelson's basecamp is truly an incredible cabin. The cabin is set in a private and peaceful area. Surrounded by trees and wildlife. The wood stove kept us really warm all through the night. We loved all the historical pictures and items that are placed throughout the cabin. This place is a true cabin experience! We loved every moment we were here. We will definitely be returning to Nelson's basecamp."
