"Great stay at this hotel… very friendly staff , not unisual for Italians and let alone Calabrese people … The breakfast is very nice and filling, continental with vienoiserie , juices, a variey of coffee brews… fruit , toast…. The owner is extremely helpful… it is a great place , very central, walkable to the corniche, beach and night life…the areas is very safe and quiet… air con works well,and I am definitely coming back for aonger stay in Regg Calabria. "

"The property has been newly restored making everything modern and efficient yet the building itself is a classic. It's minimimal style and bright colors are great. This property is close to the train station making it very convenient to travel to other places. I loved the stay."

"Fabio is an excellent host and his facility is clean and comfortable. A little small but still comfortable. Area locks dining options but the Japanese Sushi restaurant was excellent and his place is super close to the Ferries. I would recommend for 2 people for the night. "

"Location is fabulous with all of the main historical attractions within minutes walk. B& B is very clean as was my room. Lovely common area with sea view. Bed and pillows were pretty good but they definitely need to replace or flip mattress from body indents. Bathroom large with all you need. Very happy to have a kettle and note if there are no tea cups in your room, there is a large cupboard beside the common room that has small cups you can use. "The view was beautiful. The house needs a lot of maintenance and upgrading. We were told there was air conditioning. Only three separate units which when turned on the circuit breaker would break and no electricity throughout the house. Only two at a time could be turned on. It was very hot. One of the bathrooms had a very awful smell. We couldn't use it so we were six people to one bathroom without air. "Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"

"I had a wonderful experience with everything from the greeting of the staff upon arrival. Every one there is so friendly and professional and always willing to help you with any questions or concerns. I fully recommend getting the ocean view it so worth it. The restaurant on site is amazing with wonderful view and great food selections. Overall I definitely recommend Grand Hotel Victoria to anyone."

"Great hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. High recommend anyone who is looking to take the ferry to Messina the hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry option. Metro is close by for further discovery of the city. Hotel staff willing to assist and recommend. Outstanding crew!"

"Once you got beyond the entrance which is not that inviting you were treated to a most comfortable room, very modern and very well appointed. The bathroom is modern and very efficient. The smart tv gives you lots of options. You can log in to Netflix if you have an account (remember your password). Outside the bedroom is a very nice common area supplied with tea and coffee. Upstairs is a lively huge terrace decorated with plants and a comfortable sitting area. There’s a view of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast is at a bar/cafe a very short walk away. The staff there are most accommodating. You can take away your coffee and cornetti if you prefer. The only disadvantage is the 5 mints walk away from the pedestrian area which certainly wouldn’t be a problem for younger people. Be sure to be in touch with the owner ahead of time to let them know your arrival time. There’s no staff at the site. They will meet you there."
