"Firstly it is not clear that a "standard"room has the bathroom outside but it is Expedia's fault. However, 24hr reception is not correct, had to wait 15 minutes on the phone and no one answered so had to call another property of the group to gain access. "We booked here because it is extremely close to the Trieste Airport. The owners are wonderful and charming. They were lovely and provided an early morning ride to the airport. Living room, dining area, fully functional kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Close to shopping and a few eating establishments. The rooms are equipped with stove and fridge etc. There was no water provided in fridge , you would have to provide own. The breakfast was nice but at the time we stayed the coffee machine didn’t work and no near by cafe to get a morning coffee. Expedia states check in at 9am we got their approx 930am and room wasn’t ready because check in was actually 10am. Would have been nice if they supplied...
