"This was a beautiful old house with wonderful staff. Check-in was easy and very personal and they made space for us in the restaurant for dinner...which was already completely booked. Great rooms. We had to leave before breakfast was served but im sure it would have been excellent! If we ever get back to St-Mère-Église I will look forward to staying here again! Merveilleuse!"

"Beautifully renovated former dairy factory. Very kind and responsive hosts. Comfortable bed and quiet room with well appointed ensuite. It's in a rural location 2 mins from a village, which is about 5 mins from Barfleur. "

"Lit confortable, manque de chauffage et aucune séparation WC et douche par rapport à la chambre. On a dû tourner le dos quand ma fille se lavait ou aller aux WC !"

"My wife and I had the good fortune to spend a night at this lovely guest house. Our host was very welcoming and even offered to contact her baker for some gluten free bed for us! The room was spotlessly clean and the bed linen beautiful. The breakfast was exceptional too including home made jams and yoghurt. We couldn't have asked for more. Our only disappointment was that we only booked for one night!"

"The cottage was great. It was clean, good location to Day 75 events and Paul and Odile were great host and hostess. They greeted us with a basket of goodies and we so much appreciated it. We loved the garden and now have some good friends. Such a beautiful stay in your cottage, thank you!"

"Wonderful! A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a magnificent Chateau taken from the fairy tales. The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was served with splendor and friendly service, though I would add 2-3 local cheeses and a soft/hard boiled egg. The downside would be that it is NOT AT ALL suited for old/disabled people,...

Mon séjour faisait suite à une étape particulière dans ma vie . Éric m’a accompagnée avec une délicatesse et une écoute exceptionnelles . Il m’a rendue plusieurs services ( m’a véhiculée, m’a conseillée et surtout m’a redonnée de l’allant ) . Sa maison est un havre de paix, de culture et d’intelligence . "

This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes. One caveat, you must have a car 🚗 Transportation options in rural Normandy are very limited....

"Great spot to stay if touring Normandy. Was nice to cook in the room vs eating out again. Close stroll to the harbor area, restaurants and grocery store. Really comfortable bed. I would stay again."
