"We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. "This was our second time staying at Montgomery Cottage and we came back because we loved it so much the first time. The home has everything you need with the bonus of washer/dryer and pet-friendly! Lindsey and Michael made sure we had complete details on how to reach the cottage and checked in regularly to be sure we had no questions or concerns. "This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!"
