A Tranquil Sanctuary with 360° Views, Villa Rosalia

Nestled atop the highest hill in the charming town of Morovis, this enchanting back-to-nature retreat offers an idyllic escape. The expansive 5,000-square-foot home provides breathtaking, panoramic 360-degree views, capturing the beauty of surrounding mountain towns and mesmerizing river and ocean vistas from approximately 1,000 feet above sea level. Whether you're bird watching, capturing nature’s splendor in photos, listening to the almost extinct, native “coqui” frogs, or savoring the simple pleasure of roasting s’mores by the fire pit under a starlit sky, this sanctuary promises tranquility, solitude, and the perfect atmosphere for a rejuvenating getaway.

The Space
The residence is both spacious and privately set amidst four meticulously landscaped acres. Inside, you'll find soaring ceilings and three generous bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. There are two full bathrooms and one half-bath, along with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and two terraces. The entire interior is air-conditioned, though from October to March, the cooler daytime temperatures—often dipping to 70°F and 55°F at night—may make it unnecessary. Throughout the year, a gentle breeze ensures the air remains refreshingly pure. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and a large smart TV in the living area. The home is powered by a TESLA battery backup system, ensuring uninterrupted energy during power outages, and supported by a 3,000-gallon water cistern. Twenty-one solar panels fuel the battery system and provide hot water.

Guest Access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire home and its 4.2 acres of grounds.

Other Things to Note
A short drive will take you to local bars, known as “chinchorros,” along with quaint restaurants, shopping outlets, and movie theaters. Additionally, the renowned TORO VERDE adventure park in Orocovis—offering thrilling attractions such as a 2.5-km zip line and jungle rope courses—is just a 20-minute drive away. For beach lovers, the pristine shores of MAR CHIQUITA, LA ESPERANZA, and CERRO GORDO are within a 30-minute drive, all public beaches located in Manatí, Vega Baja, and Vega Alta, respectively.

The home was clean and lovely. The location is out of the way, and not easy to find. The address on the listing does not work with any mapping Apps we tried. The property manager was easy to reach and tried hard to be helpful with the directions, but when he tried to send us an alternate route, the info was the same as in the listing (said to take exit 42, instead of what he was saying verbally, which was exit 48). Also, coming from San Juan airport, exit 48 would have been farther away. I am familiar with the main roads, and could get to exit 48, but from there to the house, we would have had no directions. So we took exit 42 and found it eventually, with his help. Our internet and cell phone service was very weak/spotty in that area (we had Verizon and T-mobile). They need to add a pin to the directions when they're physically at the home. That has worked for us for many other PR locations. Other nearby locations where we've stayed had bath mats, and softer/thicker towels and bed sheets. The main selling point here are the views, and the house itself, so if you don't plan to be gone exploring the island most of the day, this is a nice place to stay. We will definitely stay there again if we have several persons with us. It would sleep 6 persons comfortably.
