"Good size, great location. Working wifi. Very friendly staff and great communication re checkin etc. Fair value for money. The property was basic and needed some smartening up. Be prepared to buy loo roll and dishwasher tablets (one of each left for three day stay). Daily housekeeping didn’t happen so these weren’t replenished. "

It’s functional as chains tend to be, but it’s not “charming.” There is a reasonably-priced buffet breakfast (9 Euros), but it’s very crowded with people crammed in there. "This is for long term stays. There was no bedding in 2 bedroom unit. We were then provided bedding for 1 bed. We had to ask for towels and when you check out, you are responsible for cleaning the room and taking all laundry to laundry center. No restaurants close to property."

Der Standard der Appartements ist sauber, gepflegt aber einfach. Wir hatten ein App. zu zweit für 4-6 Personen, allerdings mit zwei Kindern wird es sehr eng. Das Kinderzimmer sind extrem klein und hat KEIN Fenster. Wir haben es nur als Abstellraum benutzt. Sehr angenehm war der tägliche Baguette und Croissant Service an der Rezeption. A l'arrivée à 19 heures 30, il y avait une enveloppe scotchée sur la vitrine du local d'accueil avec un plan sur lequel figurait le n° de l'appartement et mon nom. "We had a wonderful stay in a well-equiped and clean house. The views and the swimming pool were gorgeous. Plenty of nice little villages to visit. The owner is very discreet and easygoing. "

Perfect balance of luxury and ease

"How do you do offer all the luxuries of a resort but balance it with authenticity and charm? Coquillade Provence figured it out. We were here for a two night stint on our way to AIX and we couldn't be more pleased and wanted to stay longer. The property is located 10-15 min away from a slew of small towns that are perfect for day-trips to discover the region. Back on property, the staff is always around to say hello or be of service, it really felt personable and high-touch. A magnificent spa, with unlimited access to sauna/steam. Two half-Olympic sized outdoor pools, plenty of walking trails and bike paths to see the extent of the grounds and vineyards. It felt like a small little village with hidden amenities all throughout. I loved the large collection of art/architecture library. This would be a perfect stay for a family with kids or without, plenty of activities to entertain everyone but doesn't loose its charm. "

Could be 5 stars with a few little touches

"The location of this gite is perfect. Gorgeous view of Mt. Ventoux and close to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, and, of course, local activities like wineries, hiking, biking. The gite itself was nice and Jean Luc the host was pleasant and responsive. The biggest frustration was a very fussy shower faucet which made it virtually impossible to control the temperature between scalding and ice cold. We understand French & European gites can be much more limited on amenities, but it would have been nice to have a starter roll of toilet paper, bath towels, a clean sponge in the kitchen, dish soap, etc. Just some small, basic touches would have gone a long, long way. In fairness, when we asked for something, the host provided it. It just would have been nice to arrive with a few basics already there."
