"Arosa is a quaint town and beautiful. Nestled in the mountains. The views are stunning and the weather and temperature very comfortable however higher elevation = greater UV and greater chances of sunburn. The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. "Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. At least the staff was friendly and helpful at the reception, although fairly inattentive with dining (the one time I was able to enjoy a meal)"

"Not sure it was clear that my room had a shared bathroom. HOWEVER, on my floor, only 3 rooms shared 1 bath and on the other side, 2 rooms shared another. Rooms and bathrooms are very nicely done and renovated. Sharing the bathroom wasn't a bother at all."

"Great staff, good food, beautiful views. The private Tschuggen Express cable car is extremely convenient and takes you right to all the hiking trails. Pass for all the Arosa cable cars is included. Only small drawback for the summer, is there is no AC, but it's perfectly safe to just keep the balcony door open at night to cool the room down."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. "This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The receptionist (blonde lady) spoke perfect English and was very helpful and friendly. The pool was open all day to 9pm, with a special child friendly time from 5-7 which my child adored, and it was very clean and modern. We parked in the garage underneath the hotel (for a fee) which you need your room card to gain access. This was safe and secure. Breakfast was from 8am until 10am and had a good range of items available. However please be warned...
