"The property was ensconced in the center of Middlebury in a historic building but our accommodations in the annex were comfortable and modern. So easy to walk around the corner and enter the warmth and coziness of the hotel and dine in the beautiful dining room which was decorated for Christmas. Lots of small stores to explore."

"Although an historic property the Inn has been updated and we enjoyed a clean, well appointed room right down to a sound machine to ensure audial comfort and improve sleep! Freshly baked cookies and caramel apples greeted us in the foyer and a detailed and spotless coffee and tea bar was just outside the guest rooms. The custom breakfast served in the main inn was excellent. Warm scones, rich coffee, French toast with Vermont maple syrup and perfect eggs with sautéed baby spinach in front of a fire listening to Miss Simone and other classic jazz vocalists…..simply heaven Cannot wait for another opportunity to return.
