"The description of this property is exactly as described. We had 9 people with us. Two people slept on a couch. One was by choice. We had plenty of room and enjoyed it so much. We may end up going back during warmer weather to take more advantage of the nice property. "

"we enjoyed the location for its quiet country setting. all amenities were just as listed. only down side for my group was the age of our group. stairs were not our friend. However that being said we loved the porch and the quiet location. the ability to gather around the large kitchen table and dine was awesome. I would reccommend this and i think we would book again knowing what we need to expect with the stairs"

"Eight16 was the perfect spot for our group of ten adults and three kids. It’s beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The layout is great in that even with a big group, there’s places to go to get some social recharge. The beds were supremely comfortable. Chatting to the host was a delight. Seriously, the only negative I can think of was the lack of closet space. But aside from that 10/10. "

"We came down from Illinois to check out Mammoth Cave for the weekend. The house was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed was provided, the house was clean and the view of Nolin Lake was spectacular. My family had a great time at the cave and were sad to leave. Communication was excellent and the check in process was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here if your in the area!"

"Stayed here for a weekend trip at mammoth cave, and it was perfect. Bed was so comfy, especially after cave hiking, and the amenities were clean and just what was needed. Super quiet and just the right size. Could not hear the neighbors in the Vrbo next to us. About 20 minutes from the visitor center at mammoth cave (where tours start) and no ferry needed! Only down side was it was a little difficult to find, but I blame that partly on the fact that we got there after dark in pretty heavy rain....

"We had a lovely, peaceful stay at this house. The deck was amazing, the views were spectacular. We enjoyed waking up to see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and more. The fall color and fog rising off the water just added to the beauty. It was close enough to Mammoth Cave that we made trips on two separate days quite easily. The kitchen enabled us to make several meals. I will say one of the showers was a little on the tight side for my husband, who is over six feet, but it was manageable....

"This property is AMAZING!! Quite, private road, perfect view of the lake, the 2nd patio was my place to be in the morning. The sunrise was breathtaking, even seen a shooting star! The bedrooms....there is so much room!! Definitely coming back with my entire family for a longer time to enjoy the house and all it has to offer. A weekend isn't long enough!!"

"Great location. Adorable house. Beautiful view! We saw deer every day, caught some fish, and saw a bald eagle fly over. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 pre teens. The house was the perfect size. Only negatives were that there was no table to eat at other than outside which would have been fine if it hadn’t been 90 and super humid :). Also, showered are small. A bigger framed person may have trouble maneuvering. Other than. That it was absolutely wonderful!"
