ALL ROADS AND THE SPACIOUS DRIVEWAY LEADING TO THIS PREMIER PROPERTY IN THE EXCLUSIVE MY MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY ARE PAVED AND EASILY ACCESSED IN 2-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES /MINIVANS.

You will enjoy the beautiful view to the west across a valley approximately 30 miles to a blue mountain range. Breathtaking sunsets are visible from the living room, bedroom, large open wrap-around deck, screened-in porch, fire pit or hot tub.

The porches and decks are fully-furnished with mountain style chairs, rockers, couches, and swings that accommodate relaxed lounging and provide a great place for bird watching the many species of birds that visit. Roast hot dogs, marshmallows, and visit at the outdoor fire pit while enjoying picturesque mountain scenery. Unwind at the end of the day by taking a dip in the hot tub or sip wine on the swing.

The extensive, professionally-landscaped yards include variegated cypress, Leland cypress, willow, dogwoods, wild cherry, pine and various hardwoods. During your visit chances are you may see wildlife including deer, wild turkey, fox, rabbit, and squirrel. Black bears have been seen in the area on rare occasions.

This beautiful home offers an open living/dining area with a gas fireplace, fully functional modern kitchen, master bedroom with a king size bed and a full private bath all on the main floor. Upstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, private full bath with jetted tub. There is even a small futon for extra lounging space as well as a small desk. Downstairs is a comfortable den with a gas fireplace and sofa with pull out queen size bed. We have added a foosball table and a Ms. Pac-Man arcade system. There is also a lovely bedroom with a queen size bed with double glass doors that lead to the backyard. Completing this floor is a full private bath and a full-size laundry room. 8 people will sleep comfortably. All bedrooms, living room and den have modern flat-screen TV's connected to the Dish Network. We are working to consistently improve, update, and make our home even more comfortable for you!

Excellent stay
We had 3 adults and two teenage boys with us. There was plenty of room for us. The boys enjoyed the loft with the twin beds and private bath. My Mom stayed on the main floor and my husband and I had the basement. It was so easy to leave. Many places have you strip beds and put towels in a central location. We were able to just pack up and leave. There were plenty of things to do and the view was just breath taking. There was a fire pit but we did not use it. We will hopefully be back next year.

What a terrific place!
We were a little early for foliage but we had a great time anyway. Almost Heaven is just that! Only a few minutes outside of BR on a hillside with a gorgeous early morning and sunset view. The cabin had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was more than we needed, Wifi was strong and the TV's had streaming and a solid Dish package. In all of the bedrooms, the mattresses were terrific and there were plenty of bedding options. Like the bedrooms, all 3 bathrooms were spacious and complete. The deck was huge, the hot tub was great and the fire pit setup was perfect. Would we return? Absolutely!

Above all, the communication with the property manager, Rachel, was some of the best I've ever experienced. She gave an abundance of information regarding the house and surrounding area. She left a personalized note and gift (what?!) from a local business (a jar of apple butter -- I *love* apple butter) waiting for us when we walked in. And overall, just made the welcome that much more sweeter. We were only at this house for the weekend, but we wish we could have stayed longer. This is one of the most well-stocked rental houses we've ever stayed in. Not just for the kitchen, but also the bathrooms and the laundry room, and with plenty of beach towels for the hot tub and rafting. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The decks were amazing to sit out on for the two mornings we were there, drinking coffee and spying on the wildlife. It was a wonderful short stay, and we highly recommend this rental.

Almost Heaven is a very spacious cabin with a gorgeous view, a wraparound deck and lovely sunset views. The host had excellent communication with us and answered all of our questions. We had a very peaceful stay and would recommend it anyone looking for a calm getaway. It’s private and quiet yet close enough to drive around to the different towns in the area.

The view of the mountains and sunset were breath taking. Great getaway to enjoy nature. The deck was our favorite place. Great Views & Cozy Home
We loved our stay at this cabin. Everything was as described. It was well stocked even though we had brought things like spices and extra towels and laundry detergent and napkins, etc. the rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. We have stayed many beautiful places and the beds would not be comfortable, these definitely were. There was plenty of room for our 4 kids (2 teens) and one grandma, too. We enjoyed the screened in porch morning and night and used the hot tub a few times. I only wish there had been more lighting at the hot tub, but other than that, this cabin had all the comforts of home. The laundry room was a nice thing to have with such a large family. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay there again. We even loved the neighborhood and went on a few walks while we were there and met some neighbors.

My husband and I LOVED staying here for a quick weekend away! The cabin was beautiful, and it was just what we needed. Rachel was a fabulous host- she touched base quickly after booking, and she gave us everything we needed to ensure a smooth and easy check-in and check-out. She also gave us some GREAT tips on how to make the most of our short visit to Blue Ridge (this was our first time in Blue Ridge). All of her recommendations were on point! She was so thoughtful in her communication, and she simply goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have the best time. A Beautiful Mountain Escape
We traveled as a family with a couple friends to celebrate my husband's birthday in the North Georgia area. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. We’re from SW Florida and were very much looking forward to the full mountain experience. Blue Ridge and this house met and exceeded our expectations! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we were so comfortable and relaxed. All of the throw blankets and the cozy gas fireplace encouraged us to just sit down and relax. The views were nothing short of perfection thanks to the huge deck. With the cool nights and the super soft sheets we slept like babies! What else can I say, the hosts and the property as a whole were just what we needed. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking!

Great cabin. Beautiful view. We came at the right time for the Fall Colors. Owner was very attentive to a couple of items we suggested. The person who they have that maintains the cabin took care of them within a day. Really like the community/neighborhood and it definately was easily accessible. Hope to return, maybe for a longer stay.
