We stayed the weekend with a large group of friends. Everyone had a great time. The house is massive and full of fun areas for everyone to hangout. And the views were amazing.
Had a great time at this home. It was clean and very well maintained. The outside area is very large and plenty of parking. Entire gravel area in front of the house was great for outdoor games. Enjoyed our stay.
This house was a great retreat getaway with a gorgeous view! The only issue I had was that the listing mentions 10 bedrooms but does not mention that 4 of them are connected and have to be walked through to get to the main house, so those 4 bedroom only work fir a family. They are not 4 bedrooms for unrelated adults who do not want to share rooms or bathrooms.
Awesome spot in the Blue Ridge, GA area. We had a group of 11 guys stay here for a reunion so this worked for us. The property is gigantic with lots of space to hang and roam. One issue we had was one side of the house was not cooling down as well as the rest of the house. The manager was responsive and had an A/C repair man come check it out the next day. The other issue was there was no ice in the ice machines when we arrived and they never did work during our stay. Nonetheless, we had a great time at the Lodge and would return in the future.
Wonderful house with a beautiful view!! The king rooms were very big with spacious bathrooms.
Would more recommend for families, smaller groups, or close friends/colleagues. We had a group of 15 adults. We weren’t expecting the Right Wing to be one continuous room. It wasn’t a problem because everyone is close, but could be if anyone is uncomfortable about being up close and personal with shared areas & bathrooms.
The drive in was dirt & gravel. It was manageable, but a little tough at night.

Over promised and under delivered
The property has ability to be a Five Star property but it has been a bit neglected. There are broken cups on the property from a 2022 wedding and the tennis/basketball court was full of leaves and had at least five old deflated basketballs on the court along with enough leaves to make the space unplayable. There were issues with the house when we checked in that could not be resolved until the following day when they had a handyman (who was great) come to the house and address most of the issues. Sadly one was an underpowered AC unit in the Right Wing of the house which left the temperature up there in the upper 70's and lower 80's.
Wow! What a wonderful home with a spectacular view.
The home was perfect for our family reunion. There was
something for everyone to enjoy. We had a week of
relaxation, sitting on one of the many rocking
chair, sharing family stories. and enjoying the view. I
highly recommend this 5 Star Lodge. We are looking
forward to coming back for our next family reunion.

Overall an amazing experience for our family that will not be forgotten. The management company was excellent in the communication department, working with us from the start to help better our stay. We had one issue the first day, and it was fixed by the second. The view may be one of the best in Georgia, and walking outside to the back deck for coffee in the morning was more than special. The outdoor railing, however, was a concern of ours for the younger family members. The railing has deteriorated in some areas, posing a hazard for the younger children. The outdoor area of the pavilion is great for entertaining, and the view overlooking the valley is spectacular. The tennis court was a big hit, however only one out of the six lights worked, resulting in no night games. The open floor plan of the main floor was excellent for keeping family together, and the “saloon” on the first level was a major bonus. The rooms are a little tricky in the right wing, but are accurately described. I would request that some beds be updated, as some were worn down and uncomfortable. In the main house, some of the doors were extremely difficult to open, and we did find ourselves working around the sticking doors. In summary, this is the best family vacation we’ve had yet, and we’re considering renting this property again for next year. Our goal is not to disparage this property, it was fantastic, there are just some minor maintenance issues that need to be corrected. Thank you Morning Breeze!
We spent thanksgiving with our family at the cabin and had a great experience. The Mountain View was amazing we had plenty of room for our guests. The cabin has seen better days as some items/rooms are outdated, however overall we had a pleasant experience.
We hosted our team retreat here with 11 people total! The property was exactly as pictured and even better in person! Great communication as well. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the things to host dinner in, beds were incredibly comfortable - but the view in morning and the mountain sunsets made this venue worth every penny! We had an incredible time!
Property was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of space for a big group. Make sure to review the floorplan. Some of the bedrooms are connected. It worked for us but it does mean that some guests will have to travel through other bedrooms to reach their room.
One thing which was not very clear through website info:
Not all rooms have attached bathroom.
3-4 rooms are quite cramped.
Other than that...nice cabin, great location and nice host.We really enjoyed out time there and will consider to go again.
Absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful time and could not imagine a more perfect first time mountain experience. The property was as beautiful as pictured and everything was easy and accessible. The twins called it the "best vacation ever!"
We're loved staying in this huge cabin. The bedroom division is strange with 3 of them kinda open to each other and not fully private. Otherwise, it is a great escape location.
Overall, it's a good property that fits many guests. Some of the bedrooms are kind of awkwardly placed - I think more detail should be given to future guests.
Enjoyed our one year wedding anniversary at Five Star Lodge with our best friends! Loved feeding the horses around the property and in the stables. Also loved the “Saloon” style doors in the basement. Roxanne, the Property Manager, was great to work with. Great getaway!

Beautiful, spacious, perfect mountain retreat!
We spent my husband’s 40th Birthday here with 20 of our closest friends and had the best time! It never felt too small or crowded, yet the fireplaces and decor made it still feel cozy. The horses on site were beautiful and it was such a treat to walk over to the barn and see them all. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for s’mores! The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances, pots and pans we needed. We plan to rent this one again in the future! Host was very responsive to all my questions and needs leading up to our weekend.

Beautiful and breathtaking view/property!
We hosted a HUGE retreat for 30+ of our fitness coaches for our company and we had the best time! Between the main lodge and the pavilion, we were completely blown away with how beautiful and well-kept the property was, how wonderful the staff was, and what a gorgeous view we had. Our booking process was simple and easy and we really appreciated all the help from the rental company and Roxanne in planning excursions and things to do during our stay. We will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back again whether for a work retreat like this or just for pleasure with a big group of friends. THANK YOU SO MUCH for a memorable stay!

Wonderful cabin
This cabin is absolutely wonderful and was a great choice for our Annual Couple's Retreat. It is very spacious and accommodated our party of 16 (8 couples). There was plenty of room for people to do different things, all at the same time. It rained a little during our weekend so we didn't go out and view the entire outside of the property, but we were able to observe the horses from the windows and porches. As we had various couples activities, we were able choose different locations throughout the cabin; the wine tasting in the bar area was my favorite. The wine coolers were an absolute treat. This place is great and the owner is very nice. Thanks for a spectacular cabin!!!!
