Oyster Shack by the Bay / 4 minutes to Morehead City Waterfront/Big Rock Landing

This immaculate 2 bedroom, 1 & ½ bath cottage, including an enclosed double car garage, is located within minutes of downtown Morehead City’s waterfront and all the fun activities and restaurants it has to offer. The cottage can house 4 people comfortably, and I just recently replaced the couch with a sleeper sofa that can accommodate 2 additional guests. It is in a transitional neighborhood and within walking distance of the Calico Creek Boardwalk and Morehead City Waterfront where the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and NC Seafood Festival are held each year. Many other water accesses are close by, including the Intracoastal Waterway and sandy beaches overlooking it. Historic Beaufort is 9 minutes away by car.

The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, high speed internet, and 3 smart TVs. There is also a gas grill and all kinds of equipment to enjoy the beach or try your hand at catching fish or crabs. Bring your boat as there is parking space for 3 cars and a boat with trailer.
Well behaved dogs are welcome for an extra fee. There is a fenced in area for them at the cottage and there is also an off-leash City dog park close by.

Lovely View in a Quiet Neighborhood
We came up to Morehead City to enjoy the NC Seafood Festival and really enjoyed our stay here. The home has a great view, the home is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We had everything we could need and were close to the downtown and a nice coffee shop- The Mug Shot. We highly recommend staying here!!

Too Short A Stay
We had a wonderful overnight stay at “Oyster Shack By The Bay”, and only wish it could have been a longer stay! The house was amazing! Pamela is an exceptionally wonderful host, she is a diligent communicator and makes her guests feel right a home with her above and beyond attention to detail and anticipating her guests every need for a special getaway. We give this property the highest recommendations!!!.

Wonderful place
This was our 2nd stay at Pamela's place. It's a wonderful house and it's stocked with everything imaginable. Truly, from kitchen to bathroom to beach toys she has it covered! This is also the best dog friendly stay I've ever experienced She puts dog beds and toys out if you're bringing your pups. We will be back many times!

Long weekend with a teen and a dog
This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a VRBO rental. The house was exactly as described, well stocked and cared for. Way too many extras to list! The cornhole and darts were a much appreciated surprise. Pamela was quick to respond and we felt right at home. Great location and view and I loved that she provided so many amenities even for my dog! We will absolutely be back!

Paradise and Pets!
We had such a fabulous vacation at this sweet beach house. It had everything we needed and more! We were greeted with friendly, airy beach decor and so many tasty little snacks! Thank you so much for the Anniversary treat! This was a memorable 11th anniversary for us and we were so grateful to spend it with our two pups. They loved all of the toys and dog beds. Coastal Getaway
The location of this house was perfect for us! My husband and I came to do a little fishing and relaxing. This property is close to everything we wanted. This is one of the most well stocked and comfortable homes I have ever stayed. We arrived to a sweet welcome with so many goodies left by the host. The BEST vacation rental
From the very start, Pamela was the very best host I’ve ever experienced. The rental was equipped with everything we could’ve ever needed and then some! This location was all it was advertised to be. I aggressively with others that it was excellent. The host seemed to think of everything and then some. The home is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. Another time I would love to take advantage of all the extras in the garage. We really enjoyed the coffee extras that were provided and the snacks. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect for us. It is such a lovely area.

Wonderful stay
We had a fantastic stay! This was one of the best equipped homes we've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we could ever need (crock pot, blender, etc). The garage was stocked with beach supplies as well which was incredibly handy. The house itself was very comfortable and in a great location. We walked to the public dock every night. We will be back!
