Owasco Lake House
This is an absolutely beautiful property which was very clean and had everything you could want for a nice family vacation. The owner communicated very well with us and was very accommodating. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations!!!! This is a great place to stay.

Beautiful weekend retreat
Beautiful, clean property for our writers retreat. We wrote by the beautiful water and went out on the kayaks every day. We would definitely return!

Fantastic Lakeside Getaway
We had a fantastic time and Aileen was very accommodating in terms of allowing our two large dogs to stay. The property was exactly as listed, if not better - clean, cozy, with a fantastic view and access to the lake. Would definitely recommend for others to stay and would plan to return in the future.

Fun family stay on Lake Owasco!
We spent a wonderful week on Lake Owasco and really enjoyed the property to the max - paddle boarding, kayaking and just jumping in the water. Thank you for sharing your property.

Excellent lake side spot
We loved our stay here! You can't beat the location and the dock right on the water. The house was comfy and well-equipped. There were kayaks to use and a place to rent a pontoon boat. The walk down is steep so if you are handicapped in any way, you may have trouble, but my group of late 40s folks navigated it fine. A great find!

Great Weekend Stay
My friends and I absolutely loved this place! Beautiful spot on the lake with a gorgeous deck, dock and lots of beach area. There were also kayaks and paddle boards to use. The house itself was immaculate and so cozy- the couches and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Aileen was welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again!

What a wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved staying at Aileen’s property. There was plenty of room for our family and we loved being able to bring our 1 year old puppy. Aileen has everything you could ever wish for at their property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with and the grill was wonderful. We loved getting to use the dock, paddle boards, and kayaks as well. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

Serenity
Our stay on Owasco Lake was splendid. The lake itself is quiet--very little motor traffic--even on the weekend, which made for perfectly peaceful days and calm nights. The surrounding area is beautiful--farms, rolling hills, small town charm, and if one wants to see and be seen, Skaneateles is close enough. We will most definitely be back.

Fantastic Lake Getaway
We had an amazing time. The lake was not overpopulated - away from commercialization. Fishing was great (husband being from England enjoys Carp fishing and was able to right from the dock). Home was updated and had everything we needed. Our host was more than reachable/responsive and gave great recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next summer. Thank you!!

Perfect escape
The small chalet was perfect for our family of 4. One of the few houses right down by the lake with a great dock. Views are to die for. The deck was amazing. The whole house overall is well furnished and had everything we expected and more. Communication with owner was easy and quick. Hope to come back again next year !

Worked remotely for 2 weeks
Very nice place for my wife and I to work remotely. We sat on the deck for coffee on each morning and wine each evening. Great view. Very relaxing. Aileen was easy to reach via text, although we didn’t need anything. House was renovated and excellent for the two of us.

The Perfect Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I booked a last minute trip here for an anniversary getaway! This place was the perfect space for us to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Our dog, loved it as well and even took a dip in the lake! The deck area is wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Aileen was very responsive and the space was clean! The only reason I would not recommend this spot is if you have trouble with steps. We were okay with it and the hosts have the stair area well lit, but could definitely see it being a bit much to handle for someone who is handicapped. If your gams can handle it though, would definitely say the steps are a small price to pay for the killer view!

Lake Owasco last week of summer
Pros: Beautiful scenic property and lake access. House was clean and cute! Views from living areas were amazing. Loved the dock and outdoor area deck, kayaks and paddleboars. Cons were: no washer/dryer use allowed. sleeping spaces were uncomfortable. Bed in master was sagging and hard for two to sleep without rolling to middle of bed. Bunk beds were low and felt crowded for teen boys. Road down Firelane to house and driveway extremely steep and may require 4WD it’s times. However did enjoy our stay and house was well stocked.

Even Better than it looks !
We brought our 10 and 12 year olds for a family trip this summer . We weren’t sure how the house would be situated on the lake but it was even better than we could have imagined . W lot of the homes are way up on the hill or super close to each other but this gem is right on the water with a great sunset view . The size is perfect , not too big but great deck space and easy for a family . My kids enjoyed the games when they weren’t fishing or swimming or paddle boarding or kayaking . The house had kayaks, floats and paddlebord plus kids and adult life jackets (even though we had our own, that is a nice perk). The house was just renovated and is really nice , light and bright w windows all around for a great view . The deck is amazing too . I highly recommend this house ! The owners were very responsive as well. Thank you for a wonderful week !!

A great time was had by all!
This is our second time visiting, and it was just as much fun as the first. The location is excellent. It is right on the lake! Our dog certainly loved that! We had such a wonderful, relaxing time, we can't wait to return!

the perfect get away
A perfect, relaxing retreat. We loved the view, sunsets every night. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. Our Labrador had a great time swimming and watching the boats go by.

Absolutely perfect week at the lake
This property is amazing! We had such a good week on Owasco lake. We are a family of four with two dogs and the place was the perfect size for us. The kids room had two sets of bunkbeds so this would work great with up to 4 kids as well. The main room (kitchen/dining room/living room) was a perfect place for us to hang out. There were puzzles and games available and a smart TV that we were able to connect our streaming accounts to easily. It was US Open week so we had some tennis to watch! The house is right on the water so it was very easy to get down to the shore for swimming and boating. The provided kayaks and paddleboards were so great to have access to. The dock and deck facing the water were great places for us to sit and get some sun. All in all, this was probably the best Vrbo we've ever rented. Thanks to the property manager and owner!
