"As frequent travellers, this is one of only two hotels that myself and my partner would definitely return to, as it was so impressive and relaxing. We stayed in the spacious Preferred Club bungalow, with a great sea view and surrounded by cared-for, quiet gardens. There are a range of pools to choose from (the main pool is huge), so you can decide on quiet or lively and a lot of sunbeds everywhere. There is also a private beach for the hotel with steps into the sea (as other reviews have said, this looks more like a lovely lake than the sea). Food was excellent quality, fresh with a huge range available. After dinner, the lobby and bar area become lively, with guests chatting and playing games. The staff were excellent, from the welcome to the restaurants to the evening drinks service. If you choose the Preferred Club, there are perks such as personal check-in, a private lounge with indoor and outdoor seating and a large range of drinks and snacks, and a private pool and sunbathing area. If you want to eat out, Gouvia has a good amount of restaurants and there is a bus route nearby to Corfu Old Town. As this is Greece, the hotel has several well-behaved cats walking among the guests and there are baby ducks roaming the gardens too. The only criticism we had, as per other reviews, is the hotel does have quite a few wasps, so it would be good if they could find a way of managing this. It didn't spoil the stay though."

"Great hotel for the airport - even with heavy cases it was a10 minute stroll - maximum. Ideal and close to most car hire locations too. Short walk to many restaurants and approx 20 minute walk to the old town too - where there is hundreds of places. Only drawback - NO lifts, so for cases and luggage not practical at all. Rooms very small. However, it was fine for the last couple of days for our hols before flying back. Reception Staf are superb, very friendly indeed and very helpful with local area. Would use again for sure"

"Excellent stay at the Tryp Wyndham Dassia. Staff were excellent. A perfect mixture of friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention also to the domestic staff, who were so warm and friendly every morning, and kept the rooms spotlessly clean and hygienic. There is a pretty decent gym on the lower ground floor, and a spa also. The pool area was really beautiful and surrounded by lush green gardens with amazing flora and fruit trees! The location of the hotel was excellent, with the beach just across the road. There is a bus stop just outside that goes straight to Corfu Town and also Ipsos, the next resort up. There was also a very large supermarket in the vicinity that sold pretty much everthing you could think of. There are many restaurants nearby on the main road and also along the beach front. Dassia beach was beautiful and I would highly recommend both the resort and the hotel."

"The staff were very lovely, I wasn’t feeling well on our last day and they sorted us an extra late checkout which was so incredibly helpful whilst I rested up for a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely stay there again! The breakfast was amazing too"

"Very good stay in Corfu, within walking distance from airport (15 mins) so we chose it after a late flight. Friendly staff, comfy bed and tasty breakfast :) recommend ☺️ it’s not very modern but it’s fair for the price"
