"Safari tents were great (we stayed in one with a bathroom) it was awesome. More like a hotel room in a tent and much nicer than a lot of hotels we've stayed in!! I didn't think the area was that great. One night is long enough to see the Hippos unless you want to do a Safari. Book a small boat, the bigger ones are very touristy."

"We stayed in the smallest bungalow, shaped like a rondavel with wings added for a small kitchen on one end and a bathroom on the other end. It was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately we were unable to use the small private pool because it was spring and too cold. The only problem we encountered was the ability to contact the receptionist on the property who seemed to be unavailable on the weekend. "I always go to lake view however the condition of this particular unit was terrible The kitchen drawers was in a bad state where there were ants and cockroaches to a degree where the pots and pans needed to be washed before use No upgrades to this unit making me think twice to book again. Got pics and videos There are no coasters, I made my own out of a pizza box I always respect other people’s property as if it was my own Staff however extremely friendly "

"I have requested a quiet corner room while making the booking and upon checking in on arrival i was told to pay an extra R200 for the quiet room which i did pay to my surprise the following day I was asked again to pay an extra R200 ... which i did pay as i did not want to move to an other room...I really feel so disgusted about how people can be so so greedy when it comes to money that we will leave behind when dead...the place was even too noisy with the occupants upstairs."
