"Perfect location in a quiet village a short distance from Chaumont. Very comfortable accommodation in a quaint traditionally French hotel and a very good host. The continental breakfast was excellent with homemade jams and good bread and croissants. Over all, a great place to stay."

Fantastic

"The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Though I had booked a double room I was given two singles but, only because the key given was incorrect ( easy to confuse a 6 & 9!) but it was no issue for me, I should have questioned it but with two dogs in hand easier to just settle in the first room! We were late yet they still gave us a table in the restaurant, and OMG the food was amazing. Next day breakfast delicious, loads of home made pastries etc, the croissant and jam particularly 😋. A wonderful hotel, lovely town with lovely walks for the dogs. "

Lingering in Langres

"Spent a week in this lovely house, which was well equipped and clean. Easy parking outside (free). Lovely views overlooking the ramparts, fields & lakes. The city was full of history, from their famous Langres cheese, Diderot & history of cutlery manufacture. The owner Pascal & his wife were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you both for your hospitality. Bill & Julie Australia"
