Because of the home's historic nature, there are spots in the floor that are a little uneven. We have placed rugs over the problem spots.

PETS:
Our home is pet friendly. We welcome up to two pets for an additional pet fee of $75. If you would like to bring more than two pets, please send me a message prior to booking.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATER:
Our home is located next to the local drive-in movie theater. We have never had any complaints about noise or light from the theater. If there are cars lined up to get into the theater, just drive past and pull into the driveway. You do not have to wait in the traffic. Please see our great reviews or message me with any questions or concerns.

BOOKING BOTH PROPERTIES:
This home is a duplex with a shared driveway but no shared walls. Please message me If you need more space for a larger group and you're interested in renting out both properties.

This was a nice property for a small group. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old and 4 month old. We had all the kitchen amenities so we were able to cook, and full laundry room was nice. Nice front yard to play yard games too. Very comfy!

We used this as our home base for exploring trails near Ouray. This home was a much better value than anything we could find for 4 adults in the Ouray / Telluride areas. The home was clean and well equipped. We appreciated being able to use the garage and felt comfortable leaving items behind at the house that we did not need for the day. Even the sofa bed turned out to be comfortable.

Comfy Retreat
The home was adorable; it was clean and had every thing we needed for a trip away from home. Close to town for when we needed something and close enough to the San Juan Mountains for our adventure. Toni was great to work with; always kind and very responsive. If we are ever in need for a home in Montrose again I’ll be checking this property first.

We were very comfortable as we only stayed 3 nights and weren't in the home very long. We were in town for a wedding and were visiting with friends or attending events most of the time. There was a nice yard and outdoor patio with a grill but none of them were used. The only thing I would improve on is a dresser in each room as the closets were small and none in 1 bedroom. The rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable. The kitchen could use a little more cleaning but we didn't use it much.

Hotels suck in Montrose
We chose a VRBO when going to watch our son compete in high school golf state championship because the hotels are awful in Montrose. Our rental was home a way from home with all the amenities we’re used to. Also we got to bring our dog which he enjoyed the beautiful front yard. Home was very clean and owner was very quick to respond.

Perfect for us
We come to Montrose every summer yo visit family but this year we came to celebrate my grandmother's 100th birthday. Lots of out of town guests so we all had to find places to stay. Thankfully I found Toni's property. My family stayed in the one unit and my brother and family stayed in the back unit. Our property was exactly as described. An older home but most importantly it was clean, spacious and a great host. That is all I ever want in a property. It doesn't have central air like her other unit so the coolers were loud and running non stop but mainly because Montrose had record breaking temps the week we were there. That normally wouldn't be an issue since Montrose weather is normally perfect. Overall we were super pleased with our host and the property and very thankful for all the little touches she added to make the stay perfect. Thanks Toni!!!!

Great House in a Great Location
Toni was a great host with great communication and hospitality. Everything was as expected with some fun extras too. The location was perfect for our day trips to Black Canyon of the Gunnison (25 minutes) and to Ouray (50 minutes.) Grocery stores were within 5 minutes and next door was a fun drive in theatre. (Watch for $5 Tuesdays with kids under 12 free) The house was great. They remodeled a 100+ year old house, so it has the character of an old house with all the modern amenities and space of something new. Our family of six fit perfectly and we were able to make most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. I loved being able to keep our Suburban in the garage too. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Montrose.

Plenty of rooms and a convenient location
We stayed here with 5 kids. There were plenty of beds and they were all comfortable! The bathrooms were nice too. We loved having laundry. The house is old, but remodeled so it does have some old house features like uneven floors and loud pipes, but we didn’t have any issues. There were not any blackout curtains and it was very bright at 6am, but hopefully they’ll add some. It was easy to get to Black Canyon and down to Ridgway and Ouray from here. Montrose has everything you need!

My husband and I and our 2 adult children were very comfortable in this location. Extremely clean, owner was very informative about check in process. I clean for a couple VRBOs in my spare time, so I’m keenly aware of cleanliness & all that a VRBO should be. Usually they are too expensive but in this case, it was an equal price tag with five times the space & ultimate privacy. The house was spacious and clean. The fenced in yard was great for our daughters dog, he loved the soft grass. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after a long day seeing the sites. Black Canyon NP is close by as is Ouray. Toni the property owner was easy to access when we had questions. I. would highly recommend this property to others.
