"Our family spent a long weekend at this apartment located in a quaint town w/private lake (backyard) & larger lake across street. Beautiful area! The apartment is from the early 1900’s. Owner has nicely redone it while keeping its original charm! It's well stocked w/ tv's in each room, nice kitchen appliances, xtra towels, cleaning supplies, paper goods, kayaks, canoe, bikes, & fishing poles. The owner is very friendly & easily accessible. He left us a bottle of wine and an assortment of candy...

"This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place...
