Olivier and Olga were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. Olivier provided us with information ahead of time to plan our trip. We had dinner at the Manoir ahead of time (arrange ahead of time, separate cost) which was very generous and delicious. We also booked a wine tasting in their wine cave which was a really memorable experience, followed by a plentiful meal of charcuterie and fromage which was the perfect ending to the tasting. Breakfast in the Orangerie every morning was a veritable feast of local products and beautifully laid out. Our children loved the swimming pool and since the weather was so warm we were grateful for the refreshment. We spent a lovely 3 nights at the Manoir and it was the perfect jumping off point to Chenonceau, Amboise, and surrounding small villages. We’d love to come back in the future and stay in the 16th century gite (this experience is for a more independent stay but the villa has been lovingly restored). This is a lovely place to stay in the Loire Valley with kind and feverish hosts.
