"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. We only stayed here one night and arrived in the evening, so didn't get to enjoy much time there. However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge. The bed was comfortable and my mum was happy to be able to have a bath. Amit (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was lovely and a wonderful host. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. "Truly beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne in a small vineyard. We stayed here by chance as part of a longer road trip. We wouldn’t consider ourselves wine lovers but the free wine tasting session was really informative and completely changed our outlook on wine. The hotel accommodation was of excellent standard and the hosts were very friendly. They also make excellent and very reasonably priced wines."

Fantastic place to stay

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. Also not enough mugs, we bought some cheap ones and left them behind! All in all a great holuday and would consider a return visit. "

Lovely property and development

"Thank you for a lovely stay in the house. The kids enjoyed the sports facilities and the development is peaceful and secure. Spacious garden and house, even for 5 of us and the house could have still been comfortable with more people. Great location, close to shops etc., but still a quiet location surrounded by sunflowers. "

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "
