"My 2nd visit here. Love the area. So peaceful despite being not far from the motorway. A great stopping off point on the long route from the very south of Italy. Lovely food for dinner. Huge breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff My only negative comment, no more paper cups. A proper cup in the room for a hot drink and a glass for water in the bathroom. I highly recommend a stay here to explore the area."

While it dud live up to s key criteria of being close to the main highway A1, the hotel itself seemed old and very non-modern. We had booked a room for four and expected two kind size beds but instead we were given one large king size and one single bed so one if the adults had to sleep with the kids.
