Friend's exploring Civil Rights trail
This home made the perfect place for us to gather, rest, eat and sleep after some long days exploring Montgomery's civil rights history. It was conveniently located close to downtown and the many places we wanted to visit. It was comfortable and supplied all of the amenities one would expect.

A Retreat Indeed!
This was a lovely home. It was clean and spacious. It was close to so many things that we could've walked if we'd been more familiar with the area. The only bad part was we couldn't stay longer. 😀

We had a fantastic stay at this property! It had everything we needed and was impeccably clean. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants and bars, making it easy to enjoy the local scene. Highly recommend!

We had 8 adults and a 3 year old in the house and were there for my daughter’s graduation at the Air Force base. Great location as it was close to everything. The house was comfortable for all of us.

Roomy and in a great location
We came in town to visit family there in Montgomery. The location was perfect because it was 10 minutes from my aunt's house and we were minutes away from all the historical sites. Plenty of space for my family to get together!

Front porch was darling and the whole house much more lush and comfortable than it appeared in pictures! Lots of attention to detail. Tons of space, great parking and easy access to main roads, food and local sites!

Great stay!
I was in town for a golf trip with some friends, and this was a perfect house for what we needed. There were more than enough beds for all of us, and lots of space to hang out. Also very conveniently located. Overall great stay!

Perfect place for us.
The property is located near downtown Montgomery. It was spacious enough for all 8 of us, with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. We enjoyed the stay and the chance to fellowship with family from another state.

We evacuated for the hurricane. The house was beautiful and for our family well.
Location is close to anything needed, Walmart, pharmacies, fast food. Beautiful property. Amanda was an amazing host. We will definitely rant again if in the area!!

Perfect house for large family
Our stay was great! We were able to comfortably fit four couples and a handful of kids. Close to downtown, but far enough to be quiet at night. Off street parking was a plus.

Beautiful home in a convenient location
A group of us attending a church event enjoyed the opportunity to stay together, pooling costs and enjoying homemade meals on the porch instead of microwave biscuits in a hotel! The Madison Retreat was a wonderful getaway. One of our fellow guests posted this on Facebook: "It was truly a lovely place, well-appointed, comfortable and spacious (much larger within than it appeared without), and graced as well with Christian quotes on the walls, a testament to the proprietress’ faith."

Charming and Comfortable
This house was perfect for us. We needed a good sized kitchen and the extra bathrooms. The owners did a great job of having all the essentials on hand. Plenty of towels, spices, soap, utensils, coffee etc. We really didn’t need anything except what we actually wanted to eat. The beds were so comfortable!!! My one and only complaint is there is an annoying chime every time you open the door. Not really a big deal though. The location was a little difficult to find at night so check the map if arriving late. Once you find it you’ll never have that issue again and the location is great. The porch is wonderful! Overall extremely happy with our stay, highly recommend!
