Surrounded by unspoilt natural surroundings and beautiful villages, this lavish holiday home in Montferrand-du-Périgord has 3 bedrooms. Ideal for a large family or group, the property features a private swimming pool and a terrace to unwind and refresh.

You can go for horse riding just 200 m away. Bakeries and restaurants are located 5 km away from home, where you can go enjoy a sumptuous meal. Go to the lake, 8 km away if you want to enjoy water sports.

The home has a furnished garden where you can enjoy a good day savouring barbecue meal. You can laze around in the living room with wood stove and watch TV or prepare a delicious meal in the well-equipped open kitchen. You can bring 1 pet here for a small fee.

Wir sind gerade von unserem Urlaub in Frankreich zurückgekommen und müssen sagen, dass wir uns absolut in dieses Anwesen verliebt haben. Die Lage ist ländlich und sehr friedlich. Die Terrasse hat den ganzen Tag Sonne und ist ideal, um abends den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden und die Eigentümer waren sehr nett. Sie sprechen nur ein wenig Englisch, aber mit unserem sehr einfachen Französisch konnten wir uns verständigen. Es stimmt, dass es in der Nähe keine Geschäfte gibt und man auf jeden Fall ein Auto braucht, aber wenn man vorbereitet ist, ist das kein Problem. Mein Vater und mein Mann haben in Monpazier eine wunderbare Bäckerei gefunden und Supermärkte gibt es etwa 15 Autominuten entfernt. Die Betten waren wirklich bequem, es gab viel Platz und die einzige Enttäuschung war, dass wir gehen und wieder zur Arbeit gehen mussten. Würden wir wieder hier übernachten? Auf jeden Fall!! Wenn unser örtlicher Flughafen im April nach Bergerac fliegen würde, würden wir buchen.

Peace and tranquility
Property was comfortable and situated in beautiful peaceful countryside . Roads to drive in were narrow or single track and no shops close by. Horses, cats and chickens were great company. Property was described as luxury, but although clean and comfortable it was not in the five star class. Beds descrlbed as king were ordinary doubles, there was no stereo as described and overall impression was a little tired..The owner is not the host. A company called Belvilla handles the bookings causing issues with commu ication between the two parties. Overall our stay was enjoyable, but not everthing was as described.

Wat een mooie uitvalsbasis voor een rustgevende vakantie. Heel warme ontvangst door de eigenaren die in het naastliggend huis wonen. Het zwembad biedt een schitterende verkoeling bij het warme weer. Het is hier heel rustig, geen verkeer of andere drukte. Rondom rond zijn er veel toeristische activiteiten: steden oude dorpen veel marktjes, grotten kastelen wandelingen, .... teveel om te doen. Dit nodigt uit om terug te keren.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad! Christelle en Alain zijn zeer hartelijk en doen enorm hun best om het je naar de zin te maken. We hebben veel gezien en gedaan in de sfeervolle Dordogne (stadjes, kastelen, grotten, markten, wandelingen) maar ook heerlijk uitgerust en genoten van de rust. Het was gezien de hitte in tweede week van ons verblijf heerlijk om af te kunnen koelen in het zwembad. Onze dochter maakte 2 fantastische buitenritten op paarden van de manege. We gaan graag nog eens terug!

1voyage en Dordogne, la location est parfaite si vous recherchez comme nous du calme et de la nature, propriétaire très gentil et très discret malgré la proximité de leur habitation , très bonne accueil, la piscine n était pas encore en service mais on nous as proposé de la mettre en service dès notre arrivée, si un jour nous retournerons dans cette belle région avec beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir, nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation dans cette location.

Maison calme et bien entretenue.Les propriétaires sont très sympas et avenants.Bien situé pour visiter certains châteaux, gouffre et grottes tout en restant à la campagne. Balade à cheval à tarif réduit avec la propriétaire qui aime vraiment ses chevaux. On y retournera🙂

Nous sommes restés quelques semaines dans cet endroit et à vrai dire, on aurait envie de cacher notre bonheur pour garder le lieu secret ! Mais bon, il faut partager... Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux, très à l'écoute et disponibles quand on a besoin. La maison correspondait exactement à ce que nous cherchions, de plain pied, bien équipée, spacieuse, avec cette petite touche personnelle qui fait qu'on se sent à la maison. Merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons !

Leuk en ruim huisje met alle nodige faciliteiten. Ligging is ook top om de regio te ontdekken. De kinderen waren natuurlijk dol enthousiast over alle dieren en de kans om paard te rijden. Enige werkpunt zijn de matrassen van sommige bedden (heel hard). We komen met plezier terug!

De hoofdreden dat we voor dit huisje kozen was de mogelijkheid tot het maken van bosritten met de paarden van de eigenaar. Dat hebben we dus ook twee keer gedaan. Zeldzaam vriendelijke mensen die ons hartelijk ontvangen hebben, we hebben zelfs een avond bij hun thuis gegeten en een fijn apéro genoten. Let op ze spreken alleen Frans en beperkt Engels. ( wij spreken Frans dus dat maakte het contact erg makkelijk) Het huisje is klein maar in principe is alles aanwezig, de wifi is alleen niet heel fantastisch. Dit huisje bevind zich in het hart van de Périgord, wil je iets doen moet je altijd met de auto op stap. Er is genoeg te zien, beleven, te doen in de omgeving. Het is een huisje op een werkende “manege” maar daar hebben wij dus geen last van gehad. Er lopen kippen en katten rond die elke dag even gedag komen zeggen. Kom je in de schemer aan dan staan langs de bosranden heel veel reeën naar je te koekeloeren. Un grand merci à Christelle et Alain, on a eu des beaux temps chez vous.

Een prachtig huis met heerlijk zwembad in een mooie omgeving. Er zijn veel bezienswaardigheden in de buurt en een paar leuke steden. Onze kinderen hebben oom genoten van hun paardrijles gegeven door de eigenaresse.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in dit leuke vakantiehuis. Een rustige plek in de Dordogne, vrij afgelegen. De eigenaresse geeft paardrijlesssen, waardoor er toch redelijk veel mensen op het terrein aanwezig zijn. Ook heeft de familie zelf regelmatig bezoek. Wij vonden dat geen probleem, maar de echte rustzoeker verwacht dit misschien niet. De privacy bij het zwembad is niet optimaal. Het is allemaal vrij open. Dat zou met begroeiiing makkelijk aan te passen zijn. Het zwembad deel je met de eigenaars en hun gasten. De huurder van het vakantiehuis heeft voorrang bij het gebruik van het zwembad. Wanneer je er op een bepaald moment geen gebruik van maakt, wordt er netjes geinformeerd of ze het zwembad nu zelf even kunnen gebruiken. Na een flinke onweersbui hadden we ongeveer 36 uur geen stroom en dus ook geen wifi. Koken is op stroom, dus dat was lastig. De eigenaar bood aan dat we bij hen konden koken. Bij vertrek werd er geen geld voor de hond in rekening gebracht, als compensatie voor het stroom probleem. Dat was wat ons betreft netjes opgelost. Soms is het wat lastig communiceren, maar de eigenaresse spreekt een klein beetje Engels dus in grote lijnen kwamen we er samen wel uit. De eigenaren zijn prettige, rustige mensen die zich bescheiden opstellen. Wij zijn tevreden.

mooie zeer rustige ligging met veel bossen, privacy wat beperkt door aanwezigheid eigenaar in aangrenzende woning (en tuin). niet aan te raden om met meerdere koppels te gaan gezien de kleine kamers en er is maar 1 2-persoonsbed. nieuwe eigenaars (was dag 1 voor hen) deden hun best om alles zo goed mogelijk te verzorgen

We hebben een zeer geslaagde vakantie gehad in dit huisje. Het was een ideale uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes, eens je gewend bent dat je even moet rijden om iets te bezoeken of boodschappen te doen, vallen de afstanden eigenlijk best mee. Degelijk huisje - inclusief vliegengaas aan de slaapkamers wat zeer geapprecieerd werd - en zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars vlakbij. De kinderen kunnen zich uitleven in het zwembad en op het grasveld terwijl de ouders van de rust genieten op het zonneterras aan het zwembad. Enige 'lastigheid' was de trage en onstabiele internetverbinding. Wellicht was het net regelmatig overbelast door het hogere verbruik in de streek (toeristen) en misschien had de warmte er ook wat mee te maken - op die ene koelere dag waren er opmerkelijk minder problemen. Wellicht iets dat eigen is aan de infrastructuur van de provider eerder dan onder controle van de eigenaars van het huisje.
