We booked for two nights, however, our room was double booked and given away by the time we got there. Pablo the manager did try to help us find a room somewhere else, but as it was already after 9:00pm, this proved to be quite difficult. We eventually found a room somewhere else on our own and had a great time in Monteverde. This is what happens when multiple apps are used for the same room and it goes out to the highest price...
On top of that, despite being told that we wouldn't be charged for anything(obviously we shouldn't have been), we were charged for both nights even though we were unable to stay there. I then got the pleasure of spending over 2 hours on the phone with Expedia telling my story to 7 different people, being transferred 3 times and given 4 different phone numbers to call, trying to get these charges reversed. This was only taken care of after i finally had to ask to speak to a supervisor...good times!
So, i would rate my overall experience as less than satisfactory.
