This single-storey holiday home with a private, sheltered pool stands on a 600 m² enclosed plot in Monteux, in the heart of Provence and at the gates of Carpentras. You live in a rural area, but are still not far from the nearest shopping facilities. The kitchen is very modern, and the spacious and very bright living room opens onto a spacious, partially covered terrace with comfortable garden furniture and a plancha or barbecue. The interiors are well maintained and furnished to a high standard, and you have three very cosy bedrooms and two modern bathrooms at your disposal. The property is located in a quiet area, so parties are not permitted.
The Vaucluse is a beautiful region in the south of France. Enjoy the historic town centre of Monteux and benefit from the Wave Island water park and the Spirou amusement park, as well as Avignon, Carpentras and Mont Ventoux. Pernes-les-Fontaines is known for its many fountains, all of which you can discover on a walk along the Forty Fountains Trail, and Velleron and its castle are also worth a detour. A little further afield, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue awaits you. Because of its many canals, this town is also known as the Venice of Provence. Small bridges and old paddle wheels emphasise the charm of the small town, which is also a highlight for antique lovers. Avignon on the banks of the Rhone is a must-see. Experience its fortifications, the famous bridge that ends abruptly in the river and the impressive papal palace. From Avignon, you can join a river cruise to the Mediterranean. Towards the east, the Luberon beckons with a regional nature park and enchanting mountain villages such as Gordes, Lacoste and Bonnieux. Also worth a visit: Fontaine-de-Vaucluse with the picturesque source of the Sorgue and the ochre rocks and quarries of Rustrel. The bizarrely shaped mountain ridges of the Dentelles de Montmirail rise above the wine-growing regions of the Côtes du Rhône, known for their high-quality wines from Gigondas, Vacqueyras or Cairanne, for example. Discover the Alpilles or the Drôme Provençale with its rolling hills and many olive groves. Walks between fields of sunflowers, poppies and fragrant lavender are unforgettable moments here. Visit the towns of Taulignan and Vaison-la-Romaine, and also worth seeing: the Cistercian abbey in Bouchet and the cave village of Barry near Bollène.
