Enveloped by its garden of splendid secular oaks, the villa is nourished by its history that shines through in the furnishings, paintings, spacious rooms and its rustic fireplaces. At the beginning of the 1900s, the villa hosted the rich Milani family and it was here that the young Lorenzo Milani discovered his vocation in the small 13th century chapel dedicated to San Enrico, which can still be visited in the Borgo della Gigliola. This enlightenment led him to a conversion, thus beginning his path as a priest. Don Milani soon became the champion of the poor people and the working class by creating a school for the children of the poor. His commitment and dedication make this priest one of the most human figures of the Church.

In addition, travelers have access to the pool of the estate. It is possible to have access to a second private swimming pool under request and for an extra fee. The swimming pool is open from June to September according to weather conditions.
