The most beautiful castle in the hills with fabulous staff running it. Ready to help for day trips advise and local shopping. Just a fabulous place surpassed my expectations. Very beautiful and tranquil with a great pool.

Quite literally the most amazing place we have stayed! We loved reading about the history of the castle and getting to live in it for a few nights. The surroundings were beautiful, reception was friendly and helpful with suggestions, and the restaurant food was fantastic. We loved spending time hanging out in the castle and exploring the surrounding areas. We hope to come back soon!

On the first morning the Tuscan sunrise streamed into our room and chided us to awake and take in the magnificient view - it was breathtaking! The rolling hills around the Castle Montegufoni over the course of the week changed glorious autumn colours. Our room, was perfectly comfortable - so much so we almost forgot to leave. The Castle location enabled very easy jaunts around the Chianti countryside (use a GPS!!) The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Would recommend highly!! (Kristine, Anchorage; Connie, Alberqueque; Karen, Canberra)
