"The reviews told me the chances of getting bed bugs was likely. I did get bed bugs. And am now attempting to deal with this which continuing to travel. The actual place was okay but they need to fumigated. If you are ok with bedbugs it’s an okay place. Otherwise. Be warned. Also. The staff were not friendly or helpful in any manner. There are about 3 restaurants and a gelato place within 3 min of walking. We stayed for a week (for the 3rd time) and here’s things to consider. "A superb stay in Florence close to anything we wanted to see and do. Plus the hosts even helped setup a private Wine tour at one of the regions oldest vineyards, exceptional support by the hosts. The space was exactly as listed and very comfortable would definitely return and stay at Zen Island on any trip to Florence. We were not disappointed with any part of the visit."
