"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

Staff very attentive to everything we asked for and organized activities for us, particularly the excellent cooking classes at the nearby Castello di Ugento. Oh and the dinner in the Castello was also excellent! We had a wonderful time and recommend the property to anyone looking for a quick relaxing escape in Puglia.
