The room was dirty; heavily worn items like toilet in disrepair including sink faucets; extremely dusty air vents with significant visible build up; poorly installed vinyl plank flooring that was bowed; carpeting in hallway was badly worn; stained and dirty. This is not a high end hotel dispute images that would indicate otherwise. Overall attention to detail was poorly lacking. Staff was very polite and accommodating

Awful place. When we checked in the lady who was rude and was not even paying you attention overcharged my credit card for a room upgrade. Didnt apologize and disregarding any concerns. The room was dirty with some kind of white powder in the furniture. The bathroom was cloged and the tv didnt work. Additionally a good friend came visit and they treated him as a criminal didnt allow him to wait for us to get ready. Manager was an awful person for customer service making the guests like she is making us some kind of favor. Dont recommend please stay somewhere the hotel is old and falling in pieces. Be careful with the rude employees

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and every time we’ve had a very satisfying experience … that’s why we keep coming back! The rooms are a bit ‘tired’ and ‘out-dated’ decor-wise, but they are spacious and, most importantly, the beds are always very comfortable! The breakfasts are FABULOUS, and the ambience in the lobby and restaurant is wonderful. We also very much enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, but always have to ask the staff to turn up the temperature in the hot tub during our stay, which, to the hotel’s credit, they have always done for us. The location is ‘perfect’ with literally dozens of wonderful restaurant and shopping options within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. I would totally recommend this hotel to everyone other than those who want a ‘state-of-the-moment’ decor experience in their room. For those folks, they should select the adjacent sister property, the Hotel Safi Metropolitan.

My room did not have hot water during this winter season. After extensive discussions, they attempted to move me to another room, as they initially doubted the issue I reported. Additionally, the staff had limited proficiency in English, which made communication difficult.
