The pool was lovely and was regularly cleaned. The owner was very easy to contact and always replied very promptly."

We loved sitting on the balcony at night with a nice wine, being entertained by the fireflies. I wish we had stayed longer, it was heartbreaking to leave. Highly recommend this magical place."

"Accurate listing. Ever-changing panorama of the Apuan Alps. Continuous cool air flow down from the mountain. Lovely view of the castle. Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Screens on windows and doors. Spacious outdoor deck (no living room, but that did not matter since we relaxed outside). Ate all our meals outdoors. We cooked all our meals the entire week. "Our stay here could not have been more enjoyable. Renato and Laura were discrete and excellent hosts and Maimonrose was spacious and cool inside. The local village has an excellent supermarket, and the Cinque Terre coast, Lucca and Torre del Lago were all within easy reach. I hope to stay there again in the future."

"I proprietari della casa a Ziona sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. La zona è molto bella e tranquilla e tattica per raggiungere le 5 terre. La pulizia di lenzuola e sanitari era fatta bene ma pavimenti e vetri erano molto polverosi o sporchi. Sconsigliato per persone con problemi alle gambe o alle ginocchia perchè le scale sono molto ripide."

"My wife and I were quite pleased and truly enjoyed Christian’s house in Calice al Cornoviglio. The house is well furnished, everything worked as it was supposed to, and everything you need to have a good time is supplied. Especially nice was the “Welcome” gift we received when we arrived and checked in. The view out across the canyon to the hills on the other side is wonderful. And the little (tiny) town of Calice al Cornoviglio was fun and accommodating. One does have to be able to navigate...

"Vi hade med oss barn och barnbarn, totalt 14 personer. Huset var perfekt för oss, storleken och trädgården med stor pool. Vi hade lite otur med vädret veckan vi hyrde så det var kallt och regnigt. Då märktes att att vi bodde uppe i bergen där det var mycket svalare än vid kusten. Mysig liten by, perfekt gångavstånd till liten matbutik, restauranger och barer."
