"The property for our needs was a little too isolated, a car is a necessity and you need to Make sure you have all groceries etc with you to avoid the dive down the very steep mountain . The accommodation is very rustic and unfortunately extremely hot making sleeping very uncomfortable, no fans or air conditioning. Keeping the windows open was not an option as there were so many hornets about at the time of our visit . However the beautiful outdoor pool and Garden area are amazing and my grandson...

Jammer genoeg was het weer wat wisselvallig (we weten dat we dit kunnen verwachten in de bergen) waardoor we het zwembad slechts 2 van de 6 dagen hebben kunnen gebruiken aangezien dit niet verwarmd is. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Podere Consani despite the weather not always being cooperative during our stay. The location was very quiet and had beautiful views. It was only a 12 to15 min. drive to the centre of Lucca. Susan was prompt at communication and was attentive to any needs we had on our visit. We enjoyed being able to see the olives being harvested. "Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"This property should never be offered for rent. Our lives were in danger just driving up the narrow roads to arrive at the property. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

"We had a wonderful stay in La Zinobita. Giuseppe and Cinzia were welcoming, kind and helpful hosts. The house was clean, comfortable and well kept with Giuseppe cleaning the pool early every morning. There were several terraces to enjoy the sun or shade. The pool was lovely with super views. The property is very well situated within easy reach of the centre and no problems parking outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year."

Step back in time in this friendly hotel.

"Fantastic location, close to main points of interest. Tower maybe 15mins and restaurants, churches, shops all close by. Try the Bombolini in Piazza Garibaldi ;). Hotel was very friendly and an interesting/ characterful environment. Staff were all great and breakfast was good. We had a river view room which had plenty of space and a lovely outlook."

Great time in Pisa

"We booked the Hotel as it was right next to the Tower and looked lovely. We did notice the separate building listed on the reservation but assumed this was in a building next door. There was no indication (or we didn’t pick up) this was a 5 min walk down the road and the other building is part of a residential block of flats. Not ideal as we felt a little disconnected but the room was lovely. Loads of space for the 5 of us and was really clean. Great little coffee machine and fridge in the room. Had a great time in Pisa. "

"It was a last minute decision to go to Pisa. Having never been there before, I just picked the closest available property. This was great small off street parking area, but conveniently located with 3 minute walk to the leaning Tower.the breakfast was good, but get an early time, as the selection was less at 9:00. Everyone was helpful and friendly."

"In front of the tower. A Unique experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
